Dairy Australia is excited to invite your class to a free, live interactive session on dairy farming\! Hosted by a qualified teacher and Aussie dairy farmer Bonnie Ravenhill, these curriculum-linked sessions provide a perfect introduction to topics such as jobs on dairy farms, how dairy foods are produced in Australia, technology, sustainability, and the health and nutritional benefits of consuming dairy.
Participating teachers will be provided with a teacher guide to support further learning and you will also have access to Discover Dairy’s free curriculum linked resources. The resources will feature a variety of engaging activities to build-upon the students’ learning from the Virtual Classroom sessions.

Meet Farmer Bonnie

Along with her husband Ken and 4 children, Bonnie milks 1400 cows in a rotary dairy. They are 4th generation Dairy Farmers. Bonnie is super passionate about attracting new people to the industry and teaching the younger generation about the importance of dairy nutritionally but also for regional communities
